Star was 1 year old when we brought her home with Ava. She earned a 3 point major and 2 points her first weekend out, at Eugene, Oregon 2007 shows, with us. We were so thrilled. We unforetunately parted with Star during this weekend and have been very saddened over this since. We learned a very serious lesson during that weekend.

She went on to finish her Championship very quickly thereafter and we miss her very much. Sometimes when one door closes so sudden, fast and difficult, then another opens with another chance...

A few weeks later we were blessed with another wonderful Smokey Valley girl that had resently been placed in a nice home that did not work out for her, "Smokey Valley's Athens", we will hold her close to us and never let her go. We were very pleased to realize she is Star's 1/2 paternal sister. I think she will just hang out and smell the roses. We may consider showing her down the road however... for now she is just our little girl.
